Kitsch launches trend-driven NPD at a high frequency, but the team’s options for product testing pre-launch were either very time consuming, or prohibitively expensive.
Running panels themselves was a painful process; the marketing team would manually run monthly testing with their VIP Facebook group, which soon became an assistant’s full time job.
Alternatively the team explored outsourced clinical trials, which cost up to $30k for each product launch, and was not fit for purpose for all of their product categories.
